Here are a few shots from a weekend spent painting. The right figure is just about done. There's a minor part to the bottom of her skirt that could be blended a little more and maybe just a hint of non-dirty color on her upper back.
I'm really pleased with the skirt. I think really I captured the leather. Dang! That bum looks nice. Dear Lauren, I think I may have embellished your butt a little bit.
The hair also came out nicely...like you could touch it or maybe think about touching it.
I just started in on the hat, trying to lay in the shapes correctly and make it look 3D...still a lot of layers and definition to come. The rest is all underpainting. I think I've been avoiding her face/veil dilemma but I'm excited for the challenge.
