Ugh. I am so close to finally finishing up this painting...if I could only find the time. I'd like to re-do the background as I've dragged my hand across it so many times, tighten up those lips and add the veil shadows. My parents were in town for a visit and they like to run down to the studio to see what's new. My mom asked if I was going to lighten the veil and I said, no. I hate that veil. I think I've laid it in countless times now and every time I think to myself well, if I had to do that part over again I'd do it completely different. I guess I'm a slow learner.
